Vehicles must be used responsibly and only for lawful purposes. The renter assumes full responsibility for the vehicle during the rental period, including compliance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

Terms & Conditions for Users

Before booking any vehicle through Rent My UFO, you agree to the following:

You must possess a valid government-issued Driving License.
The minimum age for renting a vehicle is 21 years unless otherwise specified.
Original identification documents may be required during vehicle pickup.
Rental charges, security deposits, and applicable taxes must be paid before vehicle delivery.
The rented vehicle must be returned on or before the agreed return time.
Late returns may attract additional hourly or daily rental charges.
Vehicles must not be driven under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substance.
Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
The renter is responsible for any traffic violations, challans, towing charges, or penalties incurred during the rental period.

Ownership

All vehicles listed on Rent My UFO remain the sole property of Rent My UFO or its authorized fleet partners.

Renting a vehicle grants customers temporary usage rights only and does not transfer any ownership rights.

Customers shall not:

Sell or sublet the rented vehicle.
Modify or alter the vehicle in any manner.
Use the vehicle for racing, commercial transportation, illegal activities, or off-road driving unless explicitly permitted.

Any misuse may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.

Warranty

Rent My UFO ensures that every vehicle undergoes regular servicing and maintenance before being rented.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation due to unforeseen mechanical failures, weather conditions, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control.

In case of mechanical issues during the rental period, customers must immediately notify our support team. Unauthorized repairs without prior approval are not permitted.

Unauthorized / Illegal Usage

The following activities are strictly prohibited while using our rental vehicles:

Driving without a valid Driving License.
Allowing unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
Carrying illegal substances or prohibited goods.
Participating in racing, drifting, stunts, or reckless driving.
Using the vehicle for criminal or unlawful activities.
Tampering with GPS devices or vehicle tracking systems.
Damaging, dismantling, or modifying any part of the vehicle.

Violation of these conditions may result in immediate cancellation of the rental, forfeiture of the security deposit, legal action, and recovery of damages.

Driver Responsibilities

The renter agrees to:

Inspect the vehicle before accepting delivery.
Return the vehicle in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear.
Report any accident, damage, theft, or breakdown immediately.
Keep the vehicle clean during the rental period.
Ensure sufficient fuel as per the agreed fuel policy.
Follow all traffic rules and government regulations.

The renter shall be fully responsible for any damage caused due to negligence or misuse.

Payment & Refund Policy

All rental charges are payable as per the pricing displayed during booking.

Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation policy applicable at the time of booking.

Security deposits, where applicable, will be refunded after successful vehicle inspection and clearance of any pending dues.

Refunds may be adjusted against:

Vehicle damage
Late return charges
Fuel shortages
Traffic fines
Cleaning charges
Toll violations

Processing of eligible refunds may take 5–10 business days, depending on the payment method.

Cancellation Policy

Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total rental amount paid for the booking.
